Buying Your Existing Rental Water Heater

We believe that our Customers agree that renting from Sparling's is their best water heating option. However, you can change your mind at any time, and if you do, you can elect to buy the water heater that you're already renting from us. By buying your existing rental water heater from Sparling's, your upfront cost is discounted to reflect the age of your water heater and you'll avoid the inconvenience of installing a new one.

Renting vs Owning

There are many factors you should consider when purchasing a water heater, over and above the advertised retail price of the water heater itself, including:

Installation, Delivery Charges and Sales Tax
Advertised prices elsewhere may not include all extra charges for the removal of your existing water heater, delivery and installation of your new water heater and taxes. When shopping, be sure to get a full and complete quote.

Service & Parts Replacement Costs
A water heater typically requires service an average of three times during its useful life⁴. Service and repairs can be unexpected and costly, as you can see in the above example Repair Costs.
