GASCheck®

As an industry leader, Sparling's was the first propane company in Canada to voluntarily participate in GASCheck® - before it was a legal requirement.

Today, the Ontario Propane Code requires that every propane installation must be inspected at the time of initial installation and at least once every 10 years for the life of the installation. The propane industry refers to this as the "Gas Appliance System Check", or GASCheck®.

Emergency Response Assistance Plan

In 1986, Sparling's became the first propane company in Ontario to establish an in-house Emergency Response Team. Sparling's Emergency Response Assistance Plan (ERAP 2-0220) remains in effect, is approved by Transport Canada, and outlines company's response protocols during transportation emergencies and incidents involving propane.

Sparling's emergency responders regularly train at various facilities in Ontario and the United States and are on-call 24/7.
